Bobby Rahal Honda in Mechanicsburg is looking for a Part-Time Evening Service Cashier. The required evenings and hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4pm-8pm and rotating Saturdays from 8am-5pm.
What does a Service Cashier do?
Our Service Cashier is the first person our clients speak with when phoning the dealership and the last person our service clients interact with before paying their bill leaving the building. From beginning to end, you can see where we need someone who makes a good impression! Is that you? We are looking for an outgoing candidate with a friendly face and a smile in their voice to assist incoming phone calls, work the register, and complete sales transaction-related paperwork.
As a Service Cashier, you will:
Warmly greet all clients and assist them with paying their service invoice.
Use our multi-line phone system to direct incoming calls to the appropriate party. Your default phone persona needs to be kind and professional.
Process sales receipts.
Do general, office-type duties like emailing, copying, filing, and faxing.
What are the educational/experience requirements needed to be a Service Cashier?
There are no education or experience requirements for this position. If you already have customer service and administrative experience, great! But ultimately, we're looking for someone with a real knack for talking to people.
What are the general requirements of this position?
It's worth repeating for the third time: to be successful at this position it is imperative that you are pleasant and love assisting clients!
Multitasking is important with this position. There are lots of phones ringing, keyboard keys clicking, and papers shuffling all day, every day. The right candidate will be able to effortlessly bounce back and forth.
Much of the day will be spent at the cashier's desk if you're someone who likes to be up walking around all of the time, this probably isn't the job for you.
Having decent basic math skills is a requirement. You need to be able to accurately count currency.
What are my rewards and benefits?
When you work for the Bobby Rahal Automotive Group, you're a part of a world-class organization with a stellar reputation in the community. We're often referred to as "Team Rahal" and for good reason there is great camaraderie amongst our team members, and our number one focus is to work together to exceed our clients' expectations each and every time they do business with us.
We offer competitive wages and embrace a "promote from within" philosophy.
