What does a Reconditioning Technician do?
Almost everyone can appreciate the beauty of an immaculately clean car. Our Reconditioning Technicians skillfully prepare sold vehicles before they are picked up by their new owner, ensure that our pre-owned vehicles look spiffy and ready for the lot, and make service clients fall in love with their vehicle all over again by offering a full slate of professional detailing options. Do you love cleaning YOUR car? Then this might be the career opportunity for you. We are looking for a thorough and meticulous team player who takes pride in what they do and wants to delight our clients by providing customer service that sparkles, literally and figuratively speaking!
As a Reconditioning Technician, you will:
Wash, dry, and vacuum all vehicles. Pay extra attention to areas like the windows, tires, wheels, dashboards, and door jambs. If the car was "eating bugs", apply insect remover.
Have a solid understanding of the specific products, chemicals, and tools used to detail vehicles.
Apply touch up paint and pinstripes when requested.
Park the vehicle in the appropriate location after it has been cleaned. Document where the vehicle is parked, and ensure that all doors have been locked and all windows/sunroofs/etc. are closed.
Take pride in your space by keeping the reconditioning area and wet bay clean.
Wash and dry the towels and rags used to wipe down vehicles.
